Spring Conference Update

The Society held its Spring Conference and AGM in London on Saturday 26th April. There were talks from Philip Goff on Thai Academic Dress, Daniel Reed on the the Nicholas Groves papers and Prof. Amanda Briggs-Goode and Georgia Stevenson on new designs for Nottingham Trent University.

The AGM saw Andrew Hogg, Alice Hynes and Terry Barcock re-elected as Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.

A Panel Discussion was held featuring Jayne Ball of Jayne Ball Design, Kenneth Crawford of Robes of Distinction and Martin Lewis of Evess Group.

The event was rounded off by Andrew Plant and Andrew Hogg showing some of the aspects of the Burgon website.
