U. Herts. Fellowship award for Bruce Christianson

Burgon Founding Fellow and former Dean of Studies Bruce Christianson will be invested as a Fellow of the University of Hertfordshire at St Alban’s Cathedral on the September 2nd afternoon.

The award is formally for 'service to the university', but a small part of this was helping design their academic dress 34 years ago! Bruce will thus become entitled to wear a robe of his own design.

The Fellows' robe is grey [d4] faced purple & white. Watch out for Bruce during the ceremony which will be streamed online at https://www.herts.ac.uk/graduation/on-the-day/live-streaming and in follow-up photographs in a future edition of Burgon Notes.
