Garden Party

Following the success of last year’s event kindly hosted by our President at his house in Stamford, the Burgon Society Garden Party returns to our calendars. This year it will be held in the grounds and hall of the historic Octagon Chapel (1756) in the Colgate area of Norwich (https://octagonchapelnorwich.org.uk/). Garden parties are always scarlet occasions and members, and their guests are encouraged to turn up in their finest and most festal robes. There will also be amusing activities around academical dress. If you have interesting, unusual, or unidentifiable(!) academical dress, do bring it along.
The garden party will be from 12 noon to 4 pm on Saturday 12th August. Tickets are £23 per person for Members, £25 for guests (who are most welcome) and £12.50 for Student Members to include lunch and refreshments.
